While I was painting bright summer lilies for new collection (the kind even Monet couldn’t resist), I kept circling this one round canvas with a leafy green underpaint. And suddenly a White Lady appeared at the water’s edge, looking toward a distant castle. 

The piece shifted from simple summer joy to a small legend of longing and memory. I’m keeping the bloom and light, but glazing cool mist to make this art piece more mysterious and fairy like.
