One of the regions closest to my heart in Slovakia is Záhorie - a land of mossy pine forests steeped in magic and tranquility. It’s my sanctuary, my happy place, where I return each year. In the fall, I wander through the woods foraging for mushrooms. In the spring, I listen to birds singing as they fill the air with melody, freeing my mind from all worries.
This painting captures early autumn, a time when green leaves still dominate, but hints of yellow emerge, and the first whispers of fall begin to linger in the air.
